Dr. Chiquet completed his DDS (2011), PhD (2011), and Pediatric Dentistry (2013) training from UTHealth Houston. He currently is an associate professor and director of research in the department of pediatric dentistry at UTHealth Houston. Dr. Chiquet's clinical interests include all aspects of pediatric dentistry, from comprehensive care, prevention, pulp therapy, trauma, sedation, laser dentistry, digital dentistry, hospital dentistry, and treating patients with special healthcare needs. His research interests center around a multidisciplinary approach to understanding and treating cleft lip and palate. He is very involved with resident research projects that focus on topics central to pediatric dentistry, including sedation and behavior management. His most recent publications focus on pediatric patient safety during dental care.
