Dr. Jyothsna Manchikalapudi and Dr. Talya Raitzin are second-year pediatric dental residents at Nova Southeastern University, where they’ve formed both a strong clinical partnership and a close friendship.
Jyothsna is originally a dentist from India and after she moved to the United States, she joined the Advanced Standing program at Columbia University in the City of New York and earned her D.D.S. Talya grew up in New Jersey and earned her dental degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey. After that, she completed an AEGD in 2020 and subsequently worked as a general dentist treating both children and adults. Together, we bring a blend of academic excellence and genuine compassion to our work with children.
Outside of residency, we enjoy spending time together—whether it’s cooking up something new (Jyothsna) or baking a sweet treat (Talya). Talya is also an accomplished painter, and Jyothsna loves to unwind with a good book. Their shared sense of curiosity, creativity, and dedication makes them a dynamic duo both inside and outside the dental clinic.
