Shahbaz Katebzadeh, M.S., D.M.D

Dr. Shahbaz Katebzadeh (Boz Kateb) DMD, MSc., is currently a pediatric resident at St. Barnabas hospital, New York, graduating in July 2020. Boz received his dental education in 2015 from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine, Pomona, California. In 2016, he completed general practice residency at St. Barnabas hospital and worked as a general dentist at a private practice for two years before starting pediatric residency. Boz has been involved in preclinical and clinical research and published in peer review papers. His research interests span from the role of squamous cell carcinoma in head and neck to the role of oral microbiota and inflammation on children’ birth outcomes. In his spare time Boz enjoys painting, photography, and sculpting.
