My name is Tal Sahar, a D.D.S. candidate at NYU College of Dentistry with a strong interest in pursuing pediatric dentistry. I am deeply involved in community outreach, advocacy, and student leadership initiatives that focus on expanding access to care. With a strong interest in pediatric dentistry, I am passionate about addressing disparities in oral health through education, service, and research. Their most recent project analyzes raw patient narratives from social media following the SmileDirectClub bankruptcy, shedding light on the consequences of limited provider oversight in direct-to-consumer models. I am committed to building a career that blends compassionate clinical care with meaningful impact, both inside the operatory and far beyond it.
