I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1995 from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Mexico. The following year, I enrolled in the Master's program in Orthodontics at the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, where I studied from 1996 to 1998. From 1999 until June 2024, I maintained a private orthodontic practice. In July 2024, I began my postgraduate training in Pediatric Dentistry at UT Health San Antonio in Texas. Upon completing the program, I intend to return to Del Rio, Texas, to provide much-needed specialized care to my community.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending quality time outdoors with my husband and children. I am also an enthusiastic supporter of my two children, especially during marching band season.
