Pediatric Resident
NYU Langone Dental Medicine, Brooklyn, NY
NYU Langone
My name is Quocviet Hoang, and I am currently a second-year pediatric resident at NYU Langone, Kansas site. I was born and raised in Vietnam for the first half of my life before moving to the United States to pursue higher education and broaden my experiences.
My journey into pediatric dentistry began when I volunteered for Operation Smile, an organization dedicated to providing reconstructive facial surgeries to children in need. This experience sparked my interest in dentistry, and it has since become both my passion and my career.
Outside of my professional life, I have a range of personal interests. I enjoy playing soccer and spending time with friends, especially over board games. These activities help me maintain balance and stay connected with others outside of my medical training.
I am deeply committed to my career in dentistry and strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those I serve, particularly through my work in pediatric dental care. I am driven by my passion for learning and personal growth, and I look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
