Dr. Bayan AlShuhail, BDS, is a second-year pediatric dental resident and a Master of Science candidate. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in Saudi Arabia, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical dentistry and a passion for working with children. Currently pursuing her postgraduate training in pediatric dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. AlShuhail is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of young patients.
Her research focuses on the in-vitro evaluation of wear resistance in BioFLX crowns and zirconia crowns compared to traditional stainless steel crowns, aiming to enhance the durability and esthetic outcomes of pediatric restorative treatments. Through her work, Dr. AlShuhail seeks to contribute to the advancement of restorative materials in pediatric dentistry and to support clinical decision-making with scientifically grounded data.
She is particularly interested in minimally invasive techniques, esthetic pediatric restorations, and the integration of research into clinical practice. Dr. AlShuhail aspires to combine clinical excellence with academic contribution, and she is dedicated to advancing oral health outcomes for children both locally and globally.
