Dr. Arielle Pistiner is a PGY2 pediatric dental resident training at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Neuroscience at Binghamton University, minoring in Health and Wellness Studies with a focus on nutrition, exercise science, and stress management. She graduated as part of Binghamton's first cohort of their research honors program in neuroscience, publishing her research through UCLA during this time. Arielle then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Stony Brook University, graduating as President of the Stony Brook AAPD Chapter, and being awarded with the Patricia Lewis Memorial Scholarship for excellence in pediatric dentistry and community service. She graduated with a distinction in research honor diploma for her contributions to pediatric dental and telemedicine research during her time in dental school. Arielle grew up in Rockland County, New York, and plans on practicing pediatric dentistry in New York after completion of residency this summer. Arielle has special interest in working with children with special needs, specifically children with autism spectrum disorder. She hopes to continue to further the field of pediatric dentistry regarding patients with special healthcare needs in her career to come. In her free time, Arielle enjoys hiking, live music, and spending time with her family and friends.
