Victoria Chang, DMD, is a second-year Pediatric Dentistry Resident at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where she currently serves as their Chief Resident. In addition to her residency, she is pursuing a Master of Science in Oral Sciences through the UIC College of Dentistry and an elective Health Disparities Certificate through the UIC School of Public Health. Dr. Chang is actively involved in organized dentistry as a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) Resident Committee. She also completed a Residents as Teachers Experience (RaTE) program and was excited about the opportunity to present at the 2025 American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Annual Session.
Dr. Chang earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Class of 2023. Prior to dental school, she received her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology, with minors in Studio Arts and Chemistry, from University of Pittsburgh. She also completed a Pre-Health Specialized Studies Post-Baccalaureate Program at University of Pennsylvania. Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, famous for the Amish population, she is grateful to have visited 22 countries and traveled on outreach trips to Honduras, China, and Nicaragua. She looks forward to a fulfilling career in pediatric dentistry and the positive impact she aspires to make in the lives of others.
