Gabriel Perez, DMD is a Pediatric Dental Resident at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Gabriel was born in Oaxaca, Mexico, his family immigrated to Vineland, NJ when he was 12 years old. He obtained his Bachelor’s in Biology and a minor in Chemistry at Stockton University, NJ and then earned his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During dental school, Gabriel served as the Student Trustee for the National Hispanic Dental Association, being the leading voice for over 30 dental school chapters throughout the nation. This experience helped him discover his desire to advocate for underserved communities as well as to help improve the education of minority students. Gabriel is expected to complete his two-year residency program at BCH in June of 2025. After graduation, he plans to return to New Jersey and give back to his community in private practice. During his free time, Gabriel cherishes spending time with his friends, running through Boston on a cloudy day and exploring the culinary scene in Boston.
