Asana Mohamad, DDS MPH CPH

Dr. Asana Mohamad DDS MPH CPH is currently a third-year resident of the combined Pediatric Dentistry/Dental Public Health residency at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Dr. Mohamad is a dentist with a passion for patient-centered, multidisciplinary care. Dr. Mohamad completed her dental education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2010 and has always had a passion for public health. Since graduating, she has enjoyed providing care to patients of all ages at federally qualified health centers in Iowa and Texas. Additonally, she has had the pleasure and honor of serving our nation’s elderly through providing dental care in nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities. Dr. Mohamad has also been involved in educating and mentoring pre-dental and dental students as well as family medicine residents.
When not saving smiles, Dr. Mohamad enjoys travelling to visit her family, reading, and trying new recipes even if they don’t always turn out well.
