Dzheikhuna (Jackie) Mamedova is a postgraduate pediatric dentistry resident at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester. She earned her DDS from the University of Toronto and completed a General Practice Residency at One Brooklyn Health in Brooklyn, NY. She then worked as a general dentist at several community health centers for two and a half years. Through this experience, she developed a strong passion for treating children, which inspired her to pursue a specialty in pediatric dentistry. Her clinical interests include improving access to care for underserved families and continuing to provide comprehensive dental treatment for children with special healthcare needs in both clinical and operating room settings. Upon graduation, she plans to join a private practice in Ohio. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, traveling, and creating jewelry from glass beads.
