Bethany Flanders, DDS, is a Pediatric Dental Resident at Texas A&M (formerly Baylor) College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. As the 2nd of 12 siblings and a proud aunt to 24 nieces and nephews, working with kids is second nature to her. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology from Texas A&M University (2010), Bethany spent a semester volunteering abroad and teaching children with special needs in Nepal. She returned to Texas to attend dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she continued to participate in student leadership and community outreach efforts. After graduating with her DDS and a Distinction in Dental Education (2016), she returned to her hometown in East Texas to join a thriving group practice owned by a board-certified pediatric dentist. She spent seven years working and learning alongside an amazing team of dentists, hygienists, and assistants, during which time she realized that she wanted to specialize in pediatric dentistry. She is currently completing her Pediatric Dental Residency and is expected to graduate in June, after which she plans to return to East Texas to continue to serve her community as a pediatric dentist.
