Omar Albasha, DDS**
Dr. Omar Albasha is a dedicated dental professional with a focus on pediatric care. Born in Amman, Jordan, to a Syrian family, he developed an early appreciation for both scientific rigor and creative expression, demonstrated through his academic achievements and participation as a percussionist in his school band.
Dr. Albasha earned his initial dental degree from a leading Syrian university, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. His commitment to service emerged during Syria's civil war, where he provided critical dental care to affected populations, particularly children. This experience solidified his decision to pursue pediatric dentistry as a specialty.
Seeking advanced training, Dr. Albasha relocated to the United States, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Currently completing his residency in pediatric dentistry, he is preparing to transition to private practice in Dallas, Texas. His clinical approach emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to young patients' unique needs.
As the sole healthcare professional in his family of eight siblings, Dr. Albasha values mentorship and community engagement. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys outdoor activities—including hiking and boating—and culinary exploration. He looks forward to contributing to Dallas' dental community while advancing his expertise in pediatric oral health.
