Melissa Sierra, DDS

Resident
University of Louisville Pediatric Dental Residency Program

Melissa Sierra, DDS, is a second-year pediatric dental resident at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Sierra completed her pre-reqs studies at Texas A&M University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UNICOC in Bogotá, Colombia. During her time in Colombia, she became fluent in Spanish, reconnected with her cultural roots, and gained valuable experience providing care to underserved populations. Her professional interests include multicultural pediatric care, early childhood oral health, and family-centered treatment approaches. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Sierra plans to return to Texas to practice pediatric dentistry.
