Dr. Yavari's love of kids is what inspired him to become a pediatric dentist. He graduated from UCLA school of dentistry and completed his post-graduate training in pediatric dentistry at NYU Lutheran Medical Center. He also completed a one-year program in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Boston Medical Center where he gained extensive experience working with a large variety of medically compromised and physically disabled adults and children.
Dr. Yavari has several published papers in pediatric dentistry, Endodontics, and oral surgery. During his residency, he became involved in treating severely medically compromised and syndromic pediatric patients and kids with dentofacial deformities (e.g. cleft lip and palate). One of the remarkable facts about him is that he is very organized both in his personal life and his work.
When he is not at work defending kids from cavities, he is spending time with his family, reading, traveling, hiking, and kayaking.
