Hanan AbdelGilil is a dedicated third-year dental student at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry with a passion for pediatric dentistry and a strong commitment to community service. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Hanan has always had a deep connection to her local community, which has fueled her desire to make a positive impact through oral health.
As president of her class, Hanan has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, organizing events, advocating for peers, and fostering collaboration within her cohort. These experiences have sharpened her ability to lead, communicate, and represent her classmates effectively, further fueling her desire to make a difference in the field of dentistry. Aiming to become a pediatric dentist, Hanan is particularly focused on helping children feel comfortable and confident in the dental office.
