My name is Ana Karen Davila Valdez, DDS, and I am currently a second-year resident in the Pediatric Dentistry Postdoctoral Program at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, School of Dental Medicine. I earned my Dental Surgery degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) in Monterrey, Mexico, and also hold a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in the creation and development of new businesses.
One of the greatest rewards in our profession as pediatric dentist is seeing a patient healthy and happy after treatment, their vulnerability makes helping them overcome fears and concerns even more fulfilling.
