Sandy Barnes, DDS is a second-year pediatric dental resident serving as the chief resident at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Dentistry. She is also a trainee with the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Disabilities (LEND). As a LEND trainee, she engages in a year-long program focused on advancing her knowledge and gaining experience with patients with cognitive and developmental disabilities.
