My name is Firoozeh Shekari and I am currently a first year pediatric dental resident at Staten Island University Hospital. I completed my dental eduction at New York University College of Dentistry in 2021, where I recieved a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. I continued my education at Staten Island University hospital GPR, graduating in 2022. I then moved to Texas and worked as an associate in an office setting until 2024. During this time, I learned about my passion for pediatric dentistry and I decided to pursue this specialty, which brought me to Staten Island University Hospital pediatric dentistry program in July 2024.
