Anny Yang earned her BA in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Global Health from Northwestern University and is currently a third-year dental student at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Her research explores parental preferences for post-operative care modalities to improve follow-up rates after Dental Rehabilitation under General Anesthesia (DRGA). Anny is deeply passionate about preventative care, driven by the belief that effective communication and patient education are key to creating lasting, positive change. Her desire to make a meaningful impact on children’s growth fuels her focus on pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. Outside of academics, Anny enjoys hiking and photography, drawing inspiration from nature, and exploring psychology to better understand human behavior and its connection to patient care.
