PGY-2 Pediatric Resident

My name is Michelle Shamaev, DDS, and I am a first-year Pediatric Dental Medicine resident at Northwell Staten Island University Hospital. After graduating from NYU College of Dentistry in 2023, I completed my General Practice Residency at NewYork Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where I discovered my love of treating the pediatric population. My goal in completing a residency in Pediatrics is to educate myself on how to treat pediatric patients in a caring, efficient, and atraumatic manner.
