My name is Michael (DY) Kim, and I am currently a second-year pediatric dentistry resident at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. My professional interests include preventive dentistry, dental materials, and interdisciplinary care for adolescent and young adult patients. During my residency, my research has primarily focused on the selection and performance of various dental cements, including conventional glass ionomer cements, resin-modified glass ionomer cements, and resin-based cements.
