Anamaria Carrasco, DDS, MA, is a second-year pediatric dental resident at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University. She completed her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University's School of Nursing and Health Studies, where she majored in Human Science. She received her dental degree at Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine and, while there, was able to pursue her passion in education by obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Science and Dental Education at the university's Teachers College.
