Mira Jang, DDS, is a second-year pediatric dental resident at UT Health San Antonio and will complete both her Certificate and Master’s programs in 2025. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Latin American Literature and Culture from New York University, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry. After working as a general dentist, she pursued her passion for pediatric dentistry and began her specialty training at UT Health San Antonio. Her current research focuses on assessing the accuracy and potential applications of artificial intelligence in pediatric dental care, with particular interest in how large language models can support anticipatory guidance and enhance oral health education for families.
