Traumatic dental injuries represent one of the most prevalent diseases worldwide, due to their high occurrence and their significant impact on children. Dental traumas involve esthetic, function and psychological issues. Disease prevention is desirable and it is clearly preferable to management. There are strategies and prevention-oriented interventions which can be adopted. Education of patients, parents and teachers is essential in order to decrease the events.
