This case highlights the multidisciplinary collaboration for management of traumatic dental injuries in adolescents. A 14-year-old male presented to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Emergency Department with trauma to both maxillary central incisors resulting in horizontal root fractures. Splinting was performed to stabilize the teeth on two separate occasions. Eventual root canal treatment (RCT) was completed in the coronal fragments of both teeth by the endodontic department. The patient was referred to the prosthodontics department for further evaluation. Both teeth were determined to be non-restorable and extractions of the coronal fragments were performed. A Maryland bridge was fabricated from the crowns to maintain space and address esthetics. However, the Maryland Bridge fractured on two separate occasions. Currently, the patient is undergoing treatment for a four-unit fixed prosthesis to provide a long-term functional and esthetic solution.
