Prolonged bleeding following primary tooth extractions is rare in patients without a familial history of bleeding disorders. This case report details the unplanned hospital admission of a 5-year-old female with a reported history of only an atrial septal defect and pulmonary valve stenosis, who experienced post-operative bleeding complications after dental treatment under general anesthesia. The patient developed prolonged bleeding and subsequently suffered from aspiration pneumonia, resulting in a 9-day hospital stay.
