Abstract:



Purpose: The purpose of this study is to assess the current use and perceptions of nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste by pediatric dentists in their clinical practice. This research aims to determine whether pediatric dentists incorporate n-HAp toothpaste into their treatment protocols and understand the factors influencing its adoption.

Methods: An invitation to participate in an online survey regarding nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste and its use will be sent via email to members of AAPD.

Results: Upon compilation of completed surveys, descriptive statistical analysis of the data will be completed.

Conclusion: Final results pending.  The results of this study will identify the extent to which nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste is recommended by practicing pediatric dentists and which alternatives/barriers to adoption are present.
