Abstract:



Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate if dental desensitization appointments result in improvement of behavior in patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) between recall visits.



Methods: An invitation to participate in an online survey will be sent out to the AAPD listserv to pediatric dentists and pediatric dental residents regarding their experience with dental desensitization in the clinical setting and its effectiveness on behavior of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder during recall appointments.
